BACKGROUND
On May 29th, 2024, the One Stop Shop was agendized for the Economic Development Committee meeting. At the meeting, discussion was had regarding alternate locations for a proposed One Stop Shop.
ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION
This project scope is to have further discussion on possible locations for a One Stop Shop to accommodate Community Development, Engineering and the Fire Department by collocating staff that provide land development services from three separate buildings into a One Stop customer service center. During the May 29th, 2024, Economic Development Committee meeting, it was recommended the One Stop Shop also accommodate for representatives from the Police Department and Code Compliance at a future location in the One Stop building.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the EDC receive the update and provide comments.
