RECOMMENDATION
Staff requests that the City Council:
1) Adopt a Resolution No. 8276 approving the Public Improvement Agreement for public improvements along East Foothill Boulevard related to the Precise Plan of Design (PPD) 2021-0043 located at 534 E Foothill Boulevard, which is approximately 200 feet east of Acacia Avenue; and
2) Delegate authority to the City Manager or their designee to execute all related documents.
BACKGROUND
On December 8, 2021, the City of Rialto Planning Commission adopted a resolution approving Precise Plan of Design No. 2021-0043, which allows the development of a 204-unit apartment complex on 8.02 acres of land (APNs: 0133-171-07, -08, -09, and -31) subject to the findings and conditions therein. The development is located at 534 East Foothill Boulevard, approximately 200 feet east of Acacia Avenue. A copy of the Planning Commission staff report is included as Attachment 1.
ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION
Rialto Apartments, LLC (the "Developer") requests that the City Council approve the Public Improvement Agreement (PIA) for the construction of certain public improvements along East Foothill Boulevard as required by the conditions of approval.
