Status of San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District's Demand Management Incentive (DMI) Program.
At the July 16, 2024, Utilities Commission Meeting, staff was asked to return with an update on the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District's (SBVMWD) Demand Management Incentive (DMI) Program’s funding for FY 2024-25. Per SBVMWD, the City did not meet the water conservation requirements to participate in the distribution of funds, which was based on water savings. The City will be working with RWS/Veolia to determine how water conservation requirements can be achieved in order to qualify for funding through in the DMI program in future years.
