BACKGROUND
The City of Rialto currently uses EDEN software developed by Tyler Technologies, Inc., (Tyler) for many of its core functions, including the following:


* Accounts Payable
* Accounts Receivable
* Cash Receipting
* General Ledger
* Payroll/Employment History
* Fixed Asset Tracking
* Budgeting
* Purchasing


EDEN was an early version of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System that provides a comprehensive integrated solution to municipal services. An ERP System is business process management software that allows the City to use a system of integrated applications to manage all of its internal and external business functions and operations, and to automate many back office functions related to technology, services and development. ERP software allows the City to integrate all facets of its operations - from business licensing to development services (Building/Engineering/Planning), and finance management - in a single database, application and user interface.
