Title
Request City Council to Approve an Increase with The Counseling Team International in an Amount Not To Exceed $33,800.
Body
BACKGROUND:
On August 14, 2018, City Council approved a contract with The Counseling Team International in an amount not to exceed $29,800. The contract with The Counseling Team International includes providing professional counseling services to City employees and conducting pre-employment psychological examinations. Pre-employment psychological examinations are completed for potential employees of the Police and Fire Department before they are hired.
ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION:
Purchase Order No. 2019-0675 was created to ensure the continuation of reliable pre-employment psychological examinations for a total of $6,000 for fiscal year 2019. Staff is recommending increasing Purchase Order No. 2019-0675 by $4,000 for a total not to exceed $10,000 and increasing the total contract amount with The Counseling Team International to $33,800.
