Consideration of Warrant Resolution No. 36

 

RECOMMENDATION

The City Council is requested to review and approve Warrant Resolution No. 36.

 

 

Body

BACKGROUND

The City Council is tasked with overseeing the financial affairs of the City, including the approval of expenditures. The warrant register provides a detailed record of all payments made by the City within a specified period. It includes payments for goods, services, salaries, and other obligations incurred by various departments and agencies.

 

ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION

The warrant register for the period March 15, 2024 to March 21, 2024, has been thoroughly reviewed by the Finance Department. Each payment has been scrutinized to ensure compliance with budgetary allocations, contractual agreements, and applicable regulations. The register reflects expenditures necessary for the continued operation and maintenance of city services, facilities, and programs.  Approval of the warrant resolution will signify the Council’s endorsement of the City’s financial transactions and expenditures.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

The request is not a Project as defined by Section 15378 of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)

This action is consistent with Guiding Principle 3A in the General Plan:

LEGAL REVIEW

The City Attorney has reviewed this staff report.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT

Approval of the warrant register will result in the disbursement of funds as outlined in the register. These expenditures have been budgeted for within the approved fiscal year budget and are necessary for the ongoing operation of City services.

 

 

Licensing

A business license is not required as part of this action.
