Title
Variance No. 26-0003: A request to allow a variance from Section 18.104.025B of the Rialto Municipal Code to allow the establishment of a truck yard across the street from existing residential uses, as it relates to a proposal to develop a truck yard on approximately 6.55 acres of land (APN: 0258-111-43) located at the northwest corner of Jurupa Avenue and Willow Avenue within the Light Industrial (M-1) zone.
Conditional Development Permit No. 26-0006: A request to allow the development and operation of a truck yard with an 8,400 square foot maintenance/office building on approximately 6.55 acres of land (APN: 0258-111-43) located at the northwest corner of Jurupa Avenue and Willow Avenue within the Light Industrial (M-1) zone.
Precise Plan of Design No. 26-0007: A request to allow the development of a truck yard with an 8,400 square foot maintenance/office building and associated paving, landscaping, lighting, and drainage improvements on approximately 6.55 acres of land (APN: 0258-111-43) located at the northwest corner of Jurupa Avenue and Willow Avenue within the Light Industrial (M-1) zone.
Environmental Assessment Review No. 26-0011: An Addendum to the Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Jurupa and Willow Industrial Project (SCH: 2023080604) has been prepared for consideration in conjunction with Variance No. 26-0003, Conditional Development Permit No. 26-0006, and Precise Plan of Design No. 26-0007, in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
The above entitlement applications, collectively, are referred to as “project” or “Project”.
Body
The Project was initially scheduled for presentation at the October 7, 2026 Planning Commission meeting. However, due to a clerical error in the published public notice, the item must be re-noticed. Planning staff is currently re-noticing the project and intends to schedule it for the October 21, 2026 Planning Commission meeting. No action is required by the Planning Commission at this time.
