Linden Ave., Bloomington, Assessor's Parcel Number 0249-151-39-000; and Authorize the City Manager or Their Designee to Execute all Documents.

RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council/Rialto Utility Authority:
1) Adopt resolutions approving an Extraterritorial Wastewater Service Agreement with Maria Flores, Fernando Flores, and Leticia Flores, for the property located at 9330 S. Linden Ave., Bloomington, Assessor's Parcel Number 0249-151-39-000; and
2) Authorize the City Manager or their designee to execute all documents.
BACKGROUND
Maria Flores, Fernando Flores, and Leticia Flores own the property at 9330 S. Linden Ave., Bloomington, CA (Flores Property). This property is on Linden Ave. just south of Kendall Ave. The Assessor's Parcel Number is 0249-151-39-000.
The City of Rialto owns, operates, and maintains the local public sanitary sewer system, which includes a wastewater collection system and treatment plant that serve most properties within the City limits and some areas of Bloomington. The property is not connected to any other sewer system, and the property owners have requested to connect to the Rialto wastewater system located directly in front of their home on Linden Ave.
This item was presented to the Water Subcommittee on July 24, 2025, and discussed at the Utilities Commission meeting on August 15, 2025. The Utilities Commission recommended that the City Council and the Rialto Utility Authority approve the Extraterritorial Wastewater Service Agreement with Maria Flores, Fernando Flores, and Leticia Flores.
