RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council:
1) Cancel a Public Hearing regarding the proposed annexation of territory to the Rialto Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance District No. 2;
BACKGROUND:
On August 25, 2026, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 8558, setting a Public Hearing to consider the annexation to Rialto Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance District No. 2 for September 8, 2026.
Staff and the consultant team have completed many of the required tasks to annex the proposed developments into Landscape and Lighting District No. 2; however, additional time is necessary to complete the remaining needed analysis.
Staff will submit a staff report with a recommended date for a new Public Hearing for the City Council meeting on September 22, 2026.
ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION
Further analysis for the annexation will be provided at the time of the future public hearing.
