RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council:

1) Accept the Continuing Partnership Funds, from Measure I Regional Mobility Partnership (RMP) program from Omni Transportation in the amount of $497,671.82 for Transportation Services for Seniors and Disabled persons for Fiscal years 2025-2026;

2) Adopt Resolution No. 8257 amending Fiscal Year 2024-2025 budget;

3) Approve the Funding Agreement with OmniTrans;

4) Authorize the City Manager to Execute all necessary documents

BACKGROUND

On April 12, 2022, the City Council authorized the submission of a grant application in the amount of $477,994 to OmniTrans to fund a proposed two-year program that would provide transportation services for seniors and disabilities persons. The grant application required a 20% local match for operation costs and 10% local match for capital costs.

On July 29, 2022, the City Council accepted the funds for the OmniTrans two year grant: $249,253 for year one (2022/2023 fiscal year), and $228,741 for year two (fiscal year 2023/2024).

On April 9, 2024, the City Council approved a grant application for OmniTrans' Continuing Partnership Application, extending the previous grant award from the Regional Mobility Partnership (RMP) program for the 2025 and 2026 fiscal years. In addition to the previously awarded funds...
