Update on International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) 2026 Conference

BACKGROUND
The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Conference will be held from Monday through Wednesday, May 18-20, 2026. The City will be participating at a new location within the venue, Central Hall.
ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION
Staff is currently in the process of soliciting and selecting a design firm to develop a new display booth for the City’s participation at the conference. Initial concepts are in the early design phase, and multiple design options are being explored.
Additionally, staff is working on identifying opportunity sites and contacting property owners on inclusion of sites in marketing materials. Staff is also in the process of updating the photos, brochures and giveaways for the conference.
RECOMMENDATION
Receive the update and provide direction to staff regarding booth design and overall approach for the City’s participation.
