RECOMMENDATION
Staff requests that City Council:

1) Award a construction contract to Roadway Engineering & Construction Corp., in the amount of $937,665.00 for Fire Station 201 Safety Improvements, City Project No. 25021;
2) Authorize a contract change order request in the amount of $188,965.88 with SPECS Engineering Group pursuant to the City's "on-call" agreement for construction management, inspection, and materials testing services for Fire Station 201 Safety Improvements, City Project No. 25021; and
3) Adopt a resolution amending the 2025-2026 Fiscal Budget;
4) Authorize the City Manager or their designee to execute all related documents.

BACKGROUND
On the evening of May 11, 2024, an errant driver collided with the west side of Fire Station 201 (Headquarters) located at 131 S Willow Avenue, Rialto, CA. The collision caused significant structural damage to the building, including flooding to the station as a result of fire sprinklers that were struck during the collision.
