RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council:
1. Award a Professional Services Agreement to Black O'dowd and Associates, Inc., DBA BOA Architecture, for On-Call Professional Architectural Services;
2. Award a Professional Services Agreement to Miller Architectural Corporation for On-Call Professional Architectural Services;
3. Award a Professional Services Agreement to SVA Architects, Inc. for On-Call Professional Architectural Services; and
4. Authorize the City Manager or Their Designee to Execute All Related Documents.
BACKGROUND
The City solicits the services of professional architectural firms on an on-call basis to provide consulting services for capital improvement projects and to assist in improving, expanding, or constructing new public facilities.
ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION
On October 22, 2024, the City released Request for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 25-014 for "On-Call" Professional Architectural Services on PlanetBids.com and the City's website. The RFQ scope of services included but was not limited to remodeling, repurposing, refurbishing existing public buildings, restoration or refurbishing of designated historical public structures; design of new municipal public structures; space allocation planning; infrastructure upgrades; demolition plans for unused facilities; landscape architectural, upgrade of mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment; coordination for the installation of fire sprinkler and alarm systems, door and win...
