BACKGROUND:
On February 26, 2019, the City Council authorized release of Request for Bid No. 19-033 for the CDBG Curb, Gutter, and Sidewalk Improvement Project, City Project No. CB1805.

On July 9, 2019, the City Council awarded a construction contract to C-Works Engineering, Inc. in the amount of $153,722 for the CDBG Curb, Gutter, and Sidewalk Improvement Project, City Project No. CB1805.

ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION:
On March 27, 2020, the Contractor satisfactorily completed the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Curb, Gutter, and Sidewalk Improvement Project. The project provided reconstruction of deteriorated and damaged concrete infrastructure located in CDBG eligible neighborhoods. Work items included curbs, gutters, sidewalks, cross-gutters, curb ramps, and driveway approaches. Staff conducted a final inspection and found the work to comply with the plans, specifications, and standards of the City of Rialto. Upon acceptance by City Council, staff will file a Notice of Completion for recordation at the County Recorder's office. A copy of the Notice of Completion is included as Attachment 1.

Table 1 below summarizes the total construction costs for the project.
