Septic Systems in the City of Rialto

BACKGROUND
Staff has been looking into the issue of septic systems in the City of Rialto. Where are they located, possible costs, and how to implement a program to convert the septic systems to the sewer system.
ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION
Staff has prepared a presentation, Attachment 1, on the location of the septic systems and how they can be broken down into different project configurations and associated costs. Also, would like to discuss different funding options: WIFIA, Assessment Districts, State Revolving Funds, Grants, etc.
RECOMMENDATION
Discussion on septic systems and potential project configurations in the City of Rialto.
