The City of Rialto Planning Commission is required to meet once a month per Section 2.22.040 - Meetings of the Rialto Municipal Code. Beginning December 20th, 2023, the Planning Commission will meet on the third Wednesday of each month and will commence at 6:00 PM. Meetings will continue to take place in the City Council chambers on the City Hall Campus.
The new Planning Commission meeting date of the third Wednesday of each month will ultimately allow City Council meetings and Planning Commission meetings to be on alternating dates. This will eliminate the back-to-back meeting dates and allow city staff and the Commission ample time between public meetings to prepare for each meeting and staff reports. The scheduling of one Planning Commission meeting a month will help assure full agendas for the Planning Commissions consideration each month.
