BACKGROUND:
The City of Rialto currently operates the Rialto Community Center located at 214 N. Palm Avenue. In fiscal year 2014/2015, the City Council authorized funds for the rehabilitation of Buildings 200, 300, 400 and 500.

On August 8, 2017, the City Council approved a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with IDS Group, Inc., for the preparation of architectural design Services for the Rehabilitation of Buildings 200, 300, 400 and 500 in the amount of $86,632.

ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION:
Additional work was identified during the design process through additional assessments conducted with the Building & Safety Division and during the review and preparation of an ADA Path of Travel (POT) Deficiency Map. During this process, additional ADA deficiencies were identified which were not included in the original scope of work. The additional deficiencies are associated with the gymnasium restrooms and access to those restrooms as well as the POT to and from disabled parking spaces in the parking lot located on the southeasterly side of the Community Center.
