Request City Council to Approve the List of State Budget Requests for Submittal to the Office of Assemblymember Eloise Gomez Reyes.

BACKGROUND
During the Council Meeting of January 14, 2020, Prince Ogidikpe from Assemblymember Reyes district office addressed the City Council regarding City requests for funding that potentially could be accommodated as part of the State of California budgeting process. Staff annually submits potential funding requests to Assemblymember Reyes' office, with the last submittal occurring approximately one year ago.
ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION
Staff from various City departments developed a list of potential funding requests for submittal to the office of Assemblymember Reyes. The comprehensive list of funding requests, including descriptions for each request, are attached to this item. Below is a summary of these requests by department/function:
1) Public Safety
a) Firefighter Rehabilitation and Breathing Support Vehicle $ 190,000
b) Interoperable Emergency Radios $ 250,000
c) Emergency Operations Center $ 4,500,000
d) Citywide CCTV/LPR System $ 750,000
